This is a comic speculation forum. The whole point of this place is to talk about books that might heat up so that we can share opinions/knowledge and get ahead of the curve. I might be the only one, and maybe I’m completely wrong, but I think 97% of pump and dump claims are BS.
I do think Agents is going to hit the MCU sooner than later.

Not to get us off the topic of modern comics heating up, but I currently am digging a lot of Scout’s stuff–including the stuff with no option heat that is just good. I also really like, “Money Shot,” from Vault comics that has a snowball’s chance in hell of ever being optioned unless they literally made a porno out of it maybe! “Hollow Heart,” is also from Vault and was a six-issue mini-series that was fantastic and kinda sad.

I haven’t read the series but love the title, I’ll have to check it out. I mean Boogie Nights was a great film and it was all about porn.
Picture, “Boogie Nights,” in outer space and you’re not too far off, actually.
Now I really want, “Money Shot,” to get optioned.
To get us on topic, I picked up an, “Amazing Spider-Man 265,” and, “Spider-Man 2099,” today for a decent price at the same shop. Those are really getting spicy-hot.
Money Shot is a term that will get canceled eventually… it’s just dirty and honestly, demeaning to women (even if they choose to have it done to them)… I’ll leave it at that… back on topic! I don’t want us to lose ads over porn talk!
Probably serve as a vehicle to introduce the pantheon of Asian characters…

People have been speccing on this book for 2 years straight. There’s over 4000 graded already. You can not “pump and dump” a book that is literally on everyone’s radar. EVERY. ONE.
And if he was, what do you think would happen? Even if he had 3 long boxes of them. There were nearly 150k copies printed. They’re $40+ books already and no one, even the “big” youtube channels have enough copies to affect the market one bit. This is sooooooo tired.

I think we as a community would all be a lot better off by talking about the substance of the speculation rather than throwing around terms like “pump and dump” which implies ill intent of the person talking about the book.
You can think it, but I think these types of “spec picks” can be adequately deflated by sticking to the facts that books aren’t significant, live action is unlikely, print runs are high, etc., etc.
Just generally speaking I think it would keep this forum on track. There are those out there who legitimately pump up books they have a huge stock in over and over again, but I think this is few enough and far enough between that we don’t need to keep harping on it and raising everybody’s cackles.

Agree. Everyone should be free to express their opinions on any new speculation. If you think it is bad, just state why you think it is so and let everyone else make up their minds. As with all things, dont just follow the herd blindly.

Actually, it says post 4047, so that means it DOESN’T count the hidden or delete red.
And no one ever talks to those that try to talk down a book so they can keep picking it up at low prices…

On an entirely separate note, I heard people are dropping Hulk 181 like a bad penny and flocking to 180. So, head on back on the ole’ Hulk publication timeline folks. Seems like people are moving on.
Ah, the ol’ grump n sump, lesser known opposite to the pump n dump.

I purchased a Hulk 180 just because it was cheap and I wanted to try my hand at getting it graded and flip it…shortly after the market started shifting in my favor… I actually like 180 better…kinda wish I would have kept it but needed the cash flow at the time. Maybe someday I’ll pick another one up
