Yes… But some of those were politically incorrect.
This was my experience as well, I ordered a $50 Captain Marvel #1 Alex Ross Variant and it came in one of those flimsy deals. Came all bent to shit, they did make it right and reshipped me a new one. Ordered up another incentive and shipped in the flimsy mailer again somehow made it through undamaged, but after that I’ll never order from them again, too much of a headache to deal with.
Clan McDonald having major issues with CBCS services

For those who don’t Facebook and want a TL;DR:
CBCS lost 7 of Clan McDonald’s orders, to the tune of over 300 comics. At some point, a CBCS shipped Clan McDonald’s submissions from their headquarters to an employee’s home off-site from the headquarters. The employee was in another state from the headquarters and supposedly was receiving the books to help with receiving processing.

Had a brilliant “idea” vs. actually following through with said idea can be two different things.
Need to be careful with spreading hearsay information.
I have no reason not to believe him, or what he heard. However We also don’t know who he spoke to and he has no record this actual occurred in writing from who he spoke to. For all we know it was a joke internal to CBCS that turned rumor. And that rumor then gets into the hands of uniformed people who perpetuate it.
I’ve seen how such things can happen in an office environment. Happens quite often in my experience.

If you’re going to share a long email on the internet, can you at least pull it up on a fscking computer screen and do a screenshot or copy paste the contents of the email instead of doing a bazillion different screenshots on your damn phone people!

You just know there is some guy out there who sent his mid-grade Bugs Life Movie Adaption #1 in for grading then gets this massive box with all these other comics in it.
