Thatās a nice Rogue cover, but at this point, Jack Kirby could come back from the dead to do the art and a Marvel book still wouldnāt heat up.

Sad but true. During the covid boom it was the oppositeā¦ Marvel spec was huge and I think retailers have been conditioned to order heavier on Marvel titles than anything else. So now it seems every Marvel book is readily available so secondary market is weak.

That could be why DC is killing it. DC is under ordered and doing cool stuff. Complete flip from the Covid days.

Around the COVID boom, the MCU was still popular and driving interest in Marvel. The junk on Disney+ and some poor movies since 2022 really tanked interest in the MCU and thus has bled over to the comics. If Avengers Doomsday and the new Spider-man movie are good, Marvel could get resuscitated.
My pick. Already limit 1 (Midtown). 1st print has come down a bit, but series still has consistent demand. Having read this myself it was a cool issue with newsprint interior (why canāt comics go back to newsprint?). People are going to naturally want to grab this book for a variety of reasons if they werenāt able to secure the 1at print.
Two others.
One is a Dave Stevens, re-used art (I forget from what). Stevens isnāt as hot as he used to beā¦so hard to gauge.
The other likely was heavily ordered as it was heavily solicited at FOC. That and itās not an image book and burnout from the past few weeks may temper any new story excitement.

Midtown lets me add the max to my cart for Rocketeer Island, but when I proceed to check out, it updates the cart to 1 copy. Not sure if itās an unofficial 1 per customer or if there is only one left. I pulled that book because Dave Stevens + Bondage cover seemed like a no brainer.
If it takes off, keep an eye out for the Comics Pro Virgin variant that IDW took to the convention. A copy popped up on eBay last weekend for cheap, and I just missed out on it.
Another book Iām going to be looking for next Wednesday is Craniacs #4 Flops Variant. Sold out on Midtown, and I donāt see any on eBay when I last checked. White Sky followed a similar pattern last week.

Heads up for anyone doing the weekend warrior thing, the cheap copies of Itās Jeff Meets Daredevil Jaws Variant have pretty much dried up on eBay. Could be something to add to your list when out hunting this weekend.

I sold my cop prob too soon a bundle with exorcism at Penn. shrugs. I didnāt think theyād do much
I still have a set of Exorcism at 1600 but sold all the free ashcans I could find.
Now I want Jeff to perform exorcisms!

The Jeff book is great. Really entertaining.
For a book that was hyped quite a bit during solicits, there arenāt many listings for House of Lowther #1 on eBay. Cover A is gone currently. Midtown still has stock, but something to keep a look out for on Wednesday I guess.

Havenāt sold anything from this week yet. Glad I didnāt go heavy on anything. I think the window to sell these is closing fast and then they become longshot spec books Iāll hold til something happens or throw them in as freebies on bigger sales (most likely). Donāt like sitting on books these days.

Yes. Dāorc Iām holding a copy as I think it has potential to expand beyond just a comic book. May hold one copy of Nectar as well. All others byeeeeeeeeeeeeeā¦.
