In all reality, NYCC is all about Exclusives, OA, and Celebrity signings for last many many years for me.
This year, I will be targeting Veefriends booth. They have some “interesting stuff” going on I’ve learned. If you know; you know

@Bill
I’d love to hear a report out after the con about Veefriends please. It’s an interesting hobby/brand. It gets ridiculed by so many, yet value continues to rise. I’m going to hold the sealed hobby box I have which has easily doubled in value since I bought it.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the last “sticker” set but it still did well.

Thanks for any news, hype reports you observe!!

You got it bud.

This will be the 1st year since NYCC’s 1st that I won’t be going 3 or 4 days.
Unfortunately, I have to travel to Chicago for the long weekend for my son’s Chicago Marathon.
So, all my work has to get done on Thursday
Kids first (even in their 30’s)

And yes, this Veefriends is a very hot brand that is being overlooked imo.

After selling the five away blind pack for $100 last year, I’m totally looking forward to see what they have to offer. :100: %

I’ve pointed out this cover out (at FOC). I thought it would be a great cover to get signed.

Anyway, looks like copies have all but dried up on eBay. Only one under $15 currently. Also sold out at MCS and Midtown as well as any other store with a big online presence.

One to keep an eye on.

So I took your guy’s advice to list this at $100 to see what happens. It’s the only copy on the market and appears to be super rare. I listed it today and it got a ton of interests. People asking for “what’s my best price” etc from overseas.

Now normally I would just sell it at the last sold price or for a little discount with best offer. It was mentioned here that this issue is impossible to find and that I should list it at $100 to see what happens. What happened was I got a lot of messages.

I don’t need top dollar for anything but I feel if I sell it for $50 I would be severely undercutting myself. Every time I sell these Dan Mora books they double in price lol.

What would be your play here and how would you negotiate? Should I hold firm at $99.99? Not going to lie, I’m getting attached to some of these Mora Nightwing books.

Tell them $85 and not a penny less. Then call them cheap bastards.

NVM someone paid the full price just now

Ha ha, that happens all the time, someone makes a best offer and then someone else scoops it up at full price.

I would respond to the person though, tell them you appreciate the offer and was considering it up until the book sold for full price. Now it seems to be a $100 book according to price charting.

My sales on some books not too long ago…

This kinda hurts now…

Who would have predicted? They could have gone the other way and drifted back down to cover price. I still am puzzled at how #105 in particular exploded.

Yep. Sell a book for some profit, and never look back.

Yeah, I do the same. The coulda, woulda, shoulda reflection is no bueno… and will only eat at something you can no longer control. Why fret about it? It’s in the past now… if you made money, be happy and move on to the next.

Not looking back. Just peaked a little as I knew I sold a few copies.

I still have a lot of Nightwings to move….but playing with house money now. That is always a good place to be.

I spent A LOT of $$$ on comics to flip the past few months…more than I realized…I didn’t keep track as Inwas shipping them out almost as soon as I was posting them…but checked the numbers and able to cover it.
