Disney Plus: What If..?

Who watches the Watcher? The Watchers do…

Interesting take on the Hood, Hawkeye, Shang-Chi, and……iron fist?

Immortal Iron Fist 17

Why 17? Did you mean 7?

That series had so many first appearances early in the run, along with great art and writing.

I’ll have to check the books. I’m seeing 7 as the first appearance on marvel wiki.

Immortal iron fist 17 - first app Kwai Jun-fan

Here’s another article citing issue 17, they’re probably aggregating from the same source. Marvel wiki has issue 7, so maybe the original source is wrong.

I bet 7 is the typo. And should be 17. Just flipped through and pretty much the entire story is Wu Ao-Shi. Not a
Mention of Jun-Fan.

The IIF run had very few incentives…but issue 17 had this 1:10 ratio which is pretty sweet.

You know what, i read the whole thing. Aja is my favorite creator which drove me to the series and I don’t remember Jun-Fan ever in the first 15 or so issues. He’s a gunslinger from the 1872 series correct? I don’t remember a western Iron Fist in those first issues, where would he had fit in the series. He was never in the old west.

So it must be from issue 17 onwards as I stopped after Aja left the series.

Introduced in 17.

Dead within the first few pages of 18.

It’s a great Easter Egg, but likely not something with speculating on. Especially given the time frame he existed. We’ll see if this book catches any temporary heat…it was a good episode. Liking Kate Bishop as a gunslinger.

Episodes 7 & 8 made for a good finish to the show. Thats what we’ve been waiting for.

The rest of the episodes this season, :-1: :-1: :-1: :eggplant:

What, you didn’t like the musical number earlier on? When it comes to comic related stuff, if my wife goes, that was pretty good, I know something is wrong. Same if I go up to her and ask when the new episode of screaming, cursing housewives is on. She would check if I had a fever.

I ask the wife which city is this Orange Housewives located in?

Overall it was not what I was expecting. I thought it’d be more single episode one shot stories. The Stephen Strange episode from season 1 was likely my favorite. The Infinity Ultron was good too. But I didn’t care for how they devoted episodes to bringing characters together to fight some big baddie.

I was never a fan of the big summer cross over events in the comics either…

The last episode was just boring to me…everyone tossing each other like rag dolls, shooting energy beams…lots of grunting and yelling. At least we found out what happened to the egg. I thought Byrdie was some variant of Rogue and Phoenix for a while….

BTW, the voice of Byrdie has a role in the upcoming movie Fantastic Four: First Steps.

And she kinda resembles Byrdie in appearance…
