I still don’t understand the whole card game thing that they are planning?

A CCG like Magic?

If it takes off in the future then I would assume holding these with regards to that potential is a good move too?

I was out of town a month ago and walked into a random shop. Found about 30 copies of Exquisite Corpses #1 cover A, and plenty more of 2nd prints, variants, etc. I only grabbed 5 copies of A and when I brought them to the counter, the woman said “just a sec, he needs to look up the prices for these”.

I immediately said if they’re not cover price, I don’t want them. They said $30 each. I think that’s what they’re going for now?

I didn’t even bother countering, I just said, well now you can price them and walked out.

Ordered one here too for the heck of it. Don’t usually drop $27 on one book but I feel like Tynion is a pretty safe bet. Which means it’ll be dollar bin fodder in 6 months based on my spec record :upside_down_face: :rofl:

That might just be the number they put in their database as order-able currently, not actual representation of how many are left IRL.

I am not sure flooded is the word for 50 total copies. Not everyone knows about the link and even less may be buying for flipping.
