I think the only way Kraven works as a solo title is by going with the anti-hero eco-terrorist angle. You’re never going to get a solo movie where the protagonist is a villian.
Dumb spec from the start. The only Kraven storyline that ever would have worked was Kraven’s Last Hunt.
He is an anti-hero. Movie only exists to build up to the Sinister Six movie

There was a good Kraven story in the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. That is literally one of the only modern good stories I can think of after Last Hunt.
