I buckled and sold most of my SIKTC run. I have 2 #1s and #8-14. But I made about $700 between all the copies I had. I’d say that’s pretty successful since I paid cover price for it all. That being said, I kinda regret because I am enjoying the comic overall. Might go ahead and pick up the trades. I am really enjoying Department of Truth a lot too. Issue 3 stands out as the best so far.

The last issue was great. Best so far imo.
I like reading digitally to for that aspect of not having to manhandle your floppies. It’s a reason I normally redeem my Marvel codes too.

I haven’t been able to ever get a good answer as to whether this affects a book’s value (redeeming the code). Do you just grab it from your reader copy, or if you only have one issue do you not redeem?
I don’t think it does but that’s my opinion, some say it will or does. Those are likely perfectionists. I always wondered if you leave the little sticker on, over time, does it start to create an impression on the corresponding page in really tight longboxes? Or if you press the book, does it start to cause damage?
Regardless, most of the time I can lift the redeem sticker halfway, get the code and push it back down, close the book and throw back into the bag/board. I’ve seen over time, it normally sticks back like it was never redeemed. I also consider that if it’s not fully detached or removed, it’s still part of the original book…

Sold 3 Earth 2 #25 for $50 each and still getting requests for more. I’ve made my money on them considering I paid $1 for them but not sure I want to sell the rest. I know an LCS that has a couple more copies of the book so will go through on the weekend and grab those, hopefully by then the book has gone up more

WTH is up with last Ronin #1 A cover? Recent sales are priced higher than the 1:10.
Here are the two cheapest copies on eBay at the moment (US).
Time to dump my extra Cover A copy, I suppose.

Honestly last ronin shouldn’t have been such a pricy book. Even with allocations that books print run is like 100k+, and nothing really key is in it. I’m just dumbfounded

The Last Ronin is a gateway drug for people who haven’t bought a comic in decades. I sold all my damaged copies about (20 of them) in about 24 hours. Almost all of them went to people who said they were super excited to read it and that they haven’t bought a comic in a long, long time.
100k for a fan base as large as TMNT’s is really small actually. Especially when you consider that most of them will forever be seeded in peoples collections. Hopefully these new people stick around and start collecting comics again.

Speaking of which, did any of the retailers here see allocation on HRA 2? A couple of LCSs here said they were slightly allocated.
Looks like Canto books finding some love last couple days.
Canto 1 9.8 recent low of $400 sale was a good deal. Last couple ones now all above $500ish
Canto 1 raws moving. Even some of new story arc books selling.
But that Canto 1 9.8 Frankies/Gorkem 300 print run auction at $160 was a steal imho especially the raw ones can fetch close to $100.
Any news or people talking about it or just natural demand?
I have had no luck selling any of my issues
I haven’t heard anything myself. Might be general interest and organic growth. There’s another volume coming out soon which might be generating some more interest.
