Remember when people were big on It Eats What feeds it?

Scout titles have gotten significantly better over the last few years. I think within a few more years we will be able to say if Scout is optioning titles to sell books or not. I think long term hasn’t happened yet for there better titles.

I don’t care for The Recount.

Electric Black is still holding its own too.

Lol, like Body Bags #1?

Why? My comment was about your comment calling it a pump and dump and I think you’re very very wrong about that. I don’t know if this will hold it’s value, but I do believe someone at Key Collector heard something from someone trustworthy about The Recount. Posting an alert like that for any other reason makes ZERO sense.

Nick at Key is friends with James at Scout. James used to feed me info too. Not so much as of late. But if Nick put out an alert you can bet he heard it from James Haick at Scout.

scout pump and dumps their own books, they get “optioned” but not one of them has ever moved forward into production

Well, I think publishers are allowed to “pump” their books with marketing but if they’re just flat out lying about media deals or options to move their inventory or renew interest in books to “dump” them… that’s just wrong if you ask me.

Here’s another comic that sort of took me by surprise. I’ve heard zero talk on it, just quiet climbing prices.
When Spawn #306 came out, the Gunslinger cover was very hot and tough to find. It has remained very pricey.
However, #306 had 3 other covers that (at the time) were sort of fodder, cluttering racks.
I’ve noticed all of them are very pricey now. The issue was ultimately a 1st appearance of Raptor.
Anyway, good chance you may find the other covers of #306 so grab em if you do.

Something Is Killing The Children 18 1:25 doing decent. I could’ve gotten but I hated the cover art lol, and sikc for me is one of those series I simply buy for pc

I did not buy that incentive too. Lol. 19 and 20 have better 25 inc and could have some appearances hopefully.

I noticed all McFarlane covers 300-309 have been rising. I accidentally bought this book and threw it in a pile thinking it wasn’t worth listing as I couldn’t get cover. But look at me now…

A few watchers, but no takers yet…might drop the price to $50 which seems to be what they go for in a week if it sits:

That’s interesting. I always wondered whether the latter Spawn books would rise in value like the #150-200 issues have. Maybe this is a flash in the pan but IMO Spawn is a regular buy. Just buy the coolest cover and hold. They’re also less than $2 each if you preorder so why not?

I have some really rare Spawn books. I keep thinking I need to sell the run.

Had a couple Spawn #1s I bought last year that doubled in price…sold them both. With all this Spawn craziness, King Spawn, Spawn Universe, it definitely got put back on the radar!

You don’t think there could be monetary reasons for Nick doing what he does? You think he is just doing this out of a love of comics, and for the benefit of your bank account? That is extremely short sighted, imo.

That video is about Mile High Comics. Not Key Collector.

Of course he’s doing it for monetary reasons, that’s why he charges a subscription.

Although not Peggy as Captain Britain (What If?) seems to be heating up. Jumped to $50 recently.

I’ve only ever found one of these in the wild. I liked its homage to x-men 268.
