Yeah the 1st 2 and last 3 on the list been mentioned the past 2 weeks. Not on a list but in forgotten 1sts and books to look for especially in relation to the new HBO show and Disney+

Do you have any links to those videos you mentioned, from the past few weeks? I’d be interested in checking them out.

Check out Comic Tom.

Shame on you for such a suggestion

Tales from the flip side, rennavision, pressable defects, keep it THORO… I just have these running in background while I work so I couldn’t tell you which shows feature which books, but I can tell you that most of those were discussed this month.

If you’re seeing an uptick in sales for a book, there was news that broke or some youtubers talked about it.

I find it curious that people think they have a separate hot list of books that were not featured elsewhere and they somehow have a “scoop” for the rest of the community. I personally searched 6 of those 10 books myself as a result of mentions in videos before they were posted here

Books were only mentioned in those videos because they were bought up before those videos were made…

You find it curious that people think for themselves sometimes? How did a comic ever gain value before the internet? There is much more too this hobby than YouTube videos. Eg. I don’t watch any speculation videos online, yet, I have, on several occasions, bought plenty of books well before they were mentioned on any modern day YouTube speculation (basing this on what I read here about current hot books). :man_shrugging:

You realize the majority of these books have been discussed and sought after before the internet, or YouTube, or whoever else told you what to like existed.

Also wasnt trying to give a scoop simply stating I can’t keep them in stock for more than 12 hours of being listed.

I quit reading spec sites (all but CHU) and YouTube videos about a year and a half ago. You’ll save a lot money buy books you actually want and open up a lot of time. I use that time to search and buy comics all day I can make money off of, because all I do is sell now. My first appearance collection from 1959 to present is about 5 books from being complete and all those books are $5,000+ in low grades so I don’t have anything to buy but new comics and stuff to sell. I make more money selling comics than I do my job now but I’m barely playing checkers I can see the path to making chess moves, watching other people’s spec your stuck forever playing Rock Paper Scissors.

buying the youtube books will 9 times out of 10 lose you money, the trick is to buy books before there hot, its a gamble sure but if your smart about it most of the time it will work out

Yeah don’t ever listen to those types who make videos like “BUY THESE BOOKS RIGHT NOW” most of the time its not a good time to buy those

thats very common with the youtubers, they purposely talk about books they have for sale on there ebay stores. or write articles about them. great example is outlaw #1 1:50 was a below ratio book until a youtuber and friends bought up copies than pumped it for weeks on there show
