Sold listings and that were auctioned as well… gives a better idea of what people are willing to spend based on actual demand, not just someone’s BIN they threw out there.
Nothing like using a character that only has 4 appearances for a tv show…
It’s almost like Marvel planned it this way…
I think the show is suppose to be a spin off of Secret Invasion we will find out the Skrulls first arrived on Earth during the time of the Wild West. I believe there is a Arizona Annie book that has this story. That way it’s Cowboys vs Aliens vs Supernatural Native Americans. Marvel has been looking for almost 5 years for a way to introduce the Western characters and make it cohesive to their cinematic universe.
With Echo coming in Hawkeye, Red Wolf could come in as a mentor or relative for her if they keep it modern. Since Red Wolf is a title like Black Panther, they could still introduce others in the Old West.
I also like the Occupy Avengers series with Hawkeye and Red Wolf for the team up
Here’s the book
Kid Colt and the Arizona Girl escort a wagon through Apache territory. After they make it through the wagon drops them off in a town. Kid Colt runs into the Rawhide Kid, but Rawhide doesn’t recognize Kid Colt. Rawhide goes for his gun and the Arizona Girl shoots Rawhide Kid, revealing him to be a Skrull. The entire town changes into Skrulls and attacks Rawhide Kid and Arizona Girl. The pair kills all the Skrulls. The Apaches arrive and thank them for taking care of the town and grant them safe passage.
Makes sense too since Kushmala, and Red wolf are Apache
There also was a time when the Avengers were sent back to the Old West to fight Kang in Avengers 142
I can totally see Red Wolf in the mix.
Not sure if it has been posted yet but according to Comichron, Werewolf By Night #1 released 10/21/20 has an estimated print run of 29k on the low end up to 32K on the high end. IF they do use Jake Gomez those WWBN #1 ratios (1:50 & 1:100) are going to be ghosts!) Check local comics shops to see if they still have them at yesterdays prices.
if you figure the average 60-40 split on cover A and B, that would be around 18-20k cover A’s
And 9k to 11k cover Bs! Minus incentives.
i think this will be one of the rare cases where the 1:50 will be worth more than the 1:100 long term
That cover is pretty sweet!
PUMP & DUMP!!!
I would bet that five pack came from me lol
I haven’t been paying attention because of work, but I sold a WWBN #1 three weeks for like $6.50; it had been sitting on there forever. Today I log into my Covrprice and was like wth!!! Can’t believe it went up like that, smh.
Suddenly 4 sales today, including mine after months of dormancy. Any word why?
Still plenty available at prices below these.
Weird.
Overtime appears in Black Cat #9 along with Star, which could be why people are looking up his first appearance.
There was also a post about him in the forum last week, but it was just comparing the spec to Multitude:
Interesting. Cates comments maybe? I got 2 copies in one of my boxes. Will peel off one at the right price.
Maybe interest due to Infinite Destinies?
This is one of those books that I still find in the wild quite a bit. Found two last week!
