Strangely enough, if they had looked carefully there were others copies available for less than £70 in the UK! I cannot believe it got bid that high! Madness.

More high grade copies have moved but what was interesting to see 5 CGC 9.8 copies sold via the MCS Ebay store. (4 copies at $1030 and 1 copy at $980)
Had they went directly to MCS they could have save some money by not paying the Ebay premium.
Was this buyer or buyers amateur comic book collectors that just wanted these 9.8 for any price?
I guess we shall see how this book holds up in the long run in the MCU
