No problem. I had made a mistake and sold my 1:50 and 1:100 CGC 9.8 slabs a few months back. Once UC1 came out I started kicking myself and was able to find a guy that was selling the 1:100 CGC 9.8 for fairly cheap. The cover sucks and has nothing to do with Ultimate Invasion, but for a long term spec, it’s worth a shot. I do think that this 2nd print is a much nicer looking cover.
I ordered two from my lcs. They were still in stock at Penguin.
For those thinking the Black suit cover is the actual suit at the end of issue #1 and in issue #2, I present to you this evidence…
Granted…maybe the interior art of issue #2 is not yet completed…but there isn’t one preview from that book where he has the white spider symbol on his chest.
So sorry (not sorry) for those paying a premium for that variant. It isn’t him! (Yet)

‘Picotech stealth suit’. Probably a technology that allows PP to adapt the look of the costume. I doubt we’re getting a Spider-Man with an all matte black suit.
I highly doubt people are paying a premium trying to spec on the black suit cover. As I’m typing this I have seen sales of $100 for this cover. Hard for me to believe that someone is going to spend $100 on this book thinking “hmmmm, he might wear the black costume in future issues, so let’s me spend $100 on this as this might be $150 in a few weeks.” 
More likely they just like the aesthetics of that costume/cover and it’s relatively harder to get than the A cover. For many people the black costume is their favorite. I said it before, people aren’t speccing on Ultimate Spiderman 1, there’s nothing to spec on 
It’s fomo and a hot book with a stellar creative team that’s giving them what they want. That’s it.

I tend to agree with this. It wouldn’t surprise me if Peter has no inkling of what colors he was “supposed” to wear and just chose all black because he’s trying not to be seen at night. He looks a lot like Black Panther, so I’m not a fan of this look.
I bet he comes around eventually to the traditional colors after a few issues…maybe his kids will be afraid of the vigilante and that’ll convince him to go for more “friendly neighborly” colors.
Or, better still, by day he’s traditional red and blue, but when the sun goes down he transitions to black.
Sort of like my transition lenses…but opposite.
Even Cover A may not be his “official” costume.

A genuine treasure to humanity
This is the one im surprised isn’t getting more traction since it’s the only suits he’s worn so far. It’s literally his only first cover appearance as the other suits are just from the main universe , unless I’m missing something

Thats the one I picked up, one because no logo and two because the reflection is Peter Parker Ultimate.

Random thought, probably way off…Peter dies in the ultimate universe, which could carry over to this version. If so, it’s possible instead of Miles this time, his kids take over if they start showing powers. It would be a different take…brother and sister spiders. So, issue #1 Stegman variant
