We all knew it was hyped early and agreed this book was a “hold”. We all know it’s Thane.
But I think selling now is still too early.
But mayb I’ll make a few $$ just to pay for my initial investment. Has to be $15 to be worth my time.
Yeah this is a definite hold. I had a bunch of copies of Thor 1-6 Black Winter. Sold some to recoup my initial investment. Made a whole bunch selling Thor 5, just sitting on the rest right now.
It’s not like Cates would just drop a random image like that there without following up on the storyline. Same with Black Winter. Dylan Brock was a dead spec not too long ago, now it’s on fire. Cates already said Black Winter will be back in a big way. Should definitely pick up these “dead spec” Black Winter keys while they’re dirt cheap.
I know Cates is a hype man but he respects the spec community and always delivers.
We all know White 1 is huge right now, and I see the FOC for issue 3 is toward the end of July. Having said that, I am unable to add the book to my preorders at TFAW (quantity you requested not available message). I’ve seen books like this before–unable to add one day, and able to add said book the next day. Does anyone know when their available stock “refreshes?” Or has this ship sailed?

No one talks about the Stary Dogs #1 Blank but that is jumping up in price. It just ran in the Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems
A contributing factor is that CGC just announced a private signing with Tony Fleecs & Trish Forstner where you can submit a photo of your own pet that they will use for a personalized image with the requirement that you submit a Stray Dogs blank. They link to an online store selling blanks for $85.

Ha! When I got the email about it from CGC on Wednesday they had them listed at $60.
They have to do a reprint of the blank. It’s the right thing to do 
Maybe, they can make the reprint a different color.
I saw that last night and was like dang…thats a helluva loss there!
My LCS still has those blank covers for cover price but they are useless here.

Just picked up a copy of FF 273 at my shop. Popping
Was worried there might be a short window for the signing, but looks like they are accepting submissions until September 30. I’ll have to check out some LCS shops and see if I can find some blank covers.
I’m honestly surprised at this heating up so much. Of course it’s like the one image/boom number 1 I passed on getting multiple copies of because it seemed like it wouldnt have traction.
Oh well, I have my preview copy!
