I always have free shipping and just consider the $4-$5 it costs me to ship a book in the listing.

It costs me just over $6 to ship from the east coast to the west coast plus the cost of the Gemini. I charge a $6 flat rate for the first book and .25 for each additional book.
I just upped my flat shipping rate from $5.95 to $6.25. Shipping typically costs me $5.30-5.70, but I ship via a Matt’s Baseball comic mailer, which cost me about 70 cents per. I’m not trying to make anything on shipping, but I’d like to cover my costs.

That guy has nothing on J Scott Campbell. His Kickstarter is live. I was disappointed that it was 11x17 size but the shipping really killed it for me. I was trying to decide between JSC and Jusko’s Kickstarter and the greed is real with JSC. His book is 150 pages 11x17 hardcover with these prices in USD
I’m not in US so I’m not sure if those prices are good or not, but the shipping to Canada? Higher than UK? Than Australia?? Not just a little either, and Mexico???

Pretty sure these books likely qualify for media mail too since they likely don’t have ads in them. $35 for one book in just the U.S. is just JSC pocketing the extra leftovers or does he pay his packers really really well?

Over the last couple years his upcharging and how he holds books back on his shop to charge more later has turned me off from him. I’m actually planning on clearing out my collections of his except for some big personal books.
Me too, I only plan on keeping books of his from 2010 or earlier. I figure the chance of him have skids of those books in his warehouse is a great deal less likely. I was only looking at this Kickstarter because it was for Danger Girl from that era, but I should have known better.
I agree. There are tons of sites all over the internet where people can get into arguments with insane political radicals from every part of the globe. Let’s keep CHU a nice, safe space about comics and comic related entertainment Keep politics far away.
