It may just be that he had an exclusive with them at the time of those conventions. Hopefully he is not being screwed over. Just be on the lookout for comicxposure making virgins out of his open order covers.

I hate that they gave him his start. I purchased his Vampirella Valentines Specials from them. At a con. Held my nose to make that purchase.
