Today is my anniversary. With eBay that is. 23 years on this account. They mention I bought 2 things this year but nothing about the hundreds of items I sold.
Been a member since 2000. 25 years and guess what I’ve gotten…

We used to get Ebay Bucks.
I miss Ebay Bucks
1996 here, same account. Damn I’m old.
I used those and the 15% off coupons to buy quite a few of my “grails” back in the day pre-covid.
Days are gone now…long gone…
I was just about to write the same thing. Ebay is far too greedy to bring them back.
eBay bucks were nice.
Remember Vertical Bucks from Mountain Dew?
I think it was early 2000s. I had everyone at work giving me caps…and got so many free t-shirts of Mets, Red Sox and Yankees I was giving them away….
I don’t know about vertical bucks but I got a free goldback the other day. It’s a bill that is infused with gold. Roughly $4 worth of gold in it. Not bad for free.
Actually, vertical bucks were 90s. Pepsi was the one that did the tee shirts.
I watched a docu-series about the guy who sued Pepsi for the fighter jet they advertised you could redeem with points. Fascinating three episodes.
I watched that
I shared that video with my wife and kids. Too funny.
Actually came here to post I hit $10,000 in Mercari profits lifetime.
For all the neigh-sayers, it’s slow but there is money to be made there.
I’ll be doing the same. Dogs are funny. Got one snoring away next to me now…
Time for my blog’s second giveaway to celebrate it now being 15 years old! A signed copy of, “A God Somewhere,” by the writer, John Arcudi! Go and enter if you want to possibly win!
Congrats on 15 years! It’s tough to do anything for that long.
it may not be a done deal…
All of it still has to get “approved” from the government… that’s when we can call it a done deal!
How does that even work…”all cash”?
Is someone bring a suitcase to the deal filled with greenbacks? What is the least amount of individual bills that can total up to $108B that’s currently printed? How many armored trucks are showing up to this transaction…!
I don’t consider electronic funds “cash”….cash is cash…physical paper bills…
