I just watched Monarch and am ready for some more Godzilla (well watched the first 6 episodes that have been released.)

I was at an LCS I don’t frequent often and saw many future issues like timeless and ghost rider behind the counter …I was trying to get the guy to give me some spoilers…he didn’t seem all that interested…I don’t think he even looked at them yet. He had a bad cold too, so i kinda just wanted to keep my distance anyway.

The Marvel MCU needs to take a big step back with superhero films/TV for a little while and focus on all the horror elements that exist in that universe. More Werewolf by Night, Bloodstone, Man-thing and introduce Dracula, The Living Mummy and a host of other awesome Marvel horror. Characters such as Blade and Moon Knight would be seeing a lot of air time along with it.

I was not sure where to put this but a popular member on the cgc forums recently had a stroke and members are doing a charity fund raiser to help with hospital bills. Some books are still available including uncanny xmen 317 9.8 first blink for 60 shipped (good deal) and new books are being added all towards a good cause…

On an odd side note, I though my sales were done for the year. Haven’t moved a book since a week before christmas. I sold two books on the 26th, one on the 27th, two on the 28th, and today, while I was sitting in the hospital waiting room (wife had minor surgery) I sold hundreds of dollars worth of books on eBay and Mercari that have just been sitting for months.
So that is the start to a happy new year.

I think this is my fourth time with Covid. Right now feels like a minor head cold. Hoping that it stays that way.

Kids that are just starting grade school will be saying years later they caught covid instead of the flu.
