Correct. But my guess is the suit has now changed after being shot by Old Man Dylan. So it now has some of the gold in it and some of the red. All new suit first perhaps.
I’d say it’s a new enhanced version of Venom (the sentient symbiote). He’ll bond with a new host in ANV #1.

It’s the same symbiote but not the same at the same time. He has been separated from the give, doesn’t eat brains, has had multiple hosts with different styles. Like the ASM 300 Venom is gone.
