My LCS had about 50 copies on the shelf of cover A and a bunch of the variants. They apparently went heavy on AB 15.
I’d be curious how many are left when you return.
Hard for me to gage when my shop might order 1 shelf copy of any book….regardless of popularity.
It’s hard to tell. My shop rarely does that so it kind of spooked me from going hog wild. On eBay, the price won’t rise until MyComicShop either raises their price and/or runs out of copies. The guy who was selling guaranteed NM+ copies dropped his price from $19.99 to $16.99. Once all the online orders hit people’s mail boxes and they then go to flip their copies, will the market get flooded? This is a tough call. The book should have caught no one off guard (just look at the cover!). There is a bunch of open order variants too and online shop variants as well. I have no idea how this will play out.
I’m guessing it’s a $10-$15 book forever. Despite the 300K print run, there’s a relative lack of supply, because of buyers of multiples and large volume pre-orders. That sequesters the supply, leaves the racks empty, and causes the price to rise. But a lot of the buyers/owners are weak holders, and any price appreciation will quickly bring copies out of the woodwork.

I sold the 1:50 for $70 plus shipping in 2 minutes. The 1:25 lasted an hour at $25
I paid $12 for the 1:50 and $6,99 for the 1:25. Sold several other variants I bought at a sale at a local comic shop as well as a #10 Dell’Otto for $20. Absolute Batman has been a strong seller for me in Q4

Yes, this is the week. I didn’t order near as many as other blind bags and planning to just rip them all. Trying a different approach from last ones, finally the Monster and Wolf blind bags are pretty much sold out so going to list some sealed ones and see how it goes.

THE LEGEND RETURNS TO GOTHAM! The Immortal Legend Batman’s hunt returns him to Gotham…the sprawling, planetwide city he used to call home. While looking for the next shadow monster, hell have to reconcile with the civilian life he left behind. But to his surprise, its almost like Bruce Wayne has never left. Enlisting the help of Barbara Gordon, Batman will have to uncover if this is the work of the Shadows or if someone is just playing a sick…joke.
Hmm…is the “Immortal” Joker going to make an appearance…? I’m thinking he’s on the cover A as well (a Dan Mora cover, BTW).
Pointed this out during FOC. Too late to ask Anthony for spoilers, but I’ll try to grab a copy tomorrow and report back.
