Damn, damn damn. Terrible.
Thatâs what I thought too.
This sucks.
For anyone with Hulu, thereâs a great documentary by Questlove released a few months ago called Sly Lives! (aka the Burden of Black Genius). It kind of painted a happy ending for him but it seems it was short-lived.
His drug usage really derailed his career, but from 67-72 he was among the best. RIP
Another contemporary music genius whose creativity ended far too early in life. 2025 blows.
DamnâŠloved the Beach BoysâŠTheir harmonies, blend, and pitch were smooth.
Here is a âCool story Broâ from meâŠ
My Father filled in for their drummer a few times when he was stationed out in California before he was deployed to Vietnam.
Shooter
Say what you will about Jim Shooter, he made a huge impact on comic history. Cancer sucks.

Damn, Jim Shooter made some great stories and helped shape both DC and Marvel into what they are today.
He is/was an amazing actor!
But to be honestâŠI thought he was already deadâŠoops
Fantastic character actor. From what Iâve read he was a pretty nice and weird-but-in-pleasant way guy.
I didnât realize he was 67âŠ
Thatâs too bad⊠One of the few that survived Vader. RIP
UgggâŠtoo young.
Great actor.
I most remember him for Nip/Tuck.
He did what he could as Dr. Doom.

Man, so young. Cancer. Geesh.
Oh shit⊠I only recall him as Dr. Doom⊠Cancer Sucks!!!
