A place to note when celebrities or other notable individuals pass. Morbid but interesting
I was reading this weekâs Marvel books and I saw Greg Hildebrandtâs obituary in there I didnât know he had passed in October but Iâve always loved his art.(Yes, even that crotch shot of Thanos
) Looking at any of his work immediately transports me to my childhood, and I thank him for that.
Born and raised in Wisconsin. A lifelong Brewers fan.
This one stings a bit. The dude is a legend.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMNâŠ
that oneâs a bummer.
He was Mr. Baseball and one heck of a funny guy.
Joan Plowright⊠about 9 days ago
Too young. RIP
Oh wow. Loved her.
I watched, âHarriet the Spy,â so many times as a kid.
Man, you can really see the Jaundice in her recent photos. Terrible. Sad.
WTF ??? HOLY SHIT !!!
Havenât read it yet but murder suicide?
One of the best of all time. So sad.
A story about Gene Hackman that remains, today, to âimpactâ my life/hobby.
A signing was announced a few years ago for Gene Hackman.
At ~$100 for his signature - I was buying a comic book and sending in for the signing.
Bought 3 of these books from Golden Apple and was to pick the best one to send in for signing/grading. Problem was they were all jacked (claimed to be NM) and this is where I went back and forth with Golden Apple customer service and ultimately banned forever from purchasing from them due to their nastiness.
I never did send one in for the signing as I did not want a 5.0/6.0.
So there ya go, Gene Hackman indirectly got me banned from Golden Apple
Wish I had sent in anyway. One of my favorite actors of all time. RIP
âFoul play is not suspected as a factor in those deaths at this time, however exact cause of death has not been determined,â the sheriffâs office said.
Their dog died as well. Iâm guessing carbon monoxide poisoning.
Anyone reading, if you donât have carbon monoxide detectors in your home, please rectify this. Theyâre not expensive and smoke detectors arenât the only thing you need to protect yourself.
Hoosiers was one of the best moviesâŠ
