Yeah, you’re right about his armor. And tbh there’s nothing wrong with the cover. I just prefer the look of the ingots because they have a damascus type of pattern (which I’m partial to).

seriously. im glad ive got books coming but the wait is a bit much now.

I actually don’t care really at this point. I haven’t been selling much and most of the stuff I am selling, I already got on hand.
In regards to the Bloodstone cover/2nd, it bothers me. Honestly not so much because of it impact upon the resale/spec value, etc, but because it just doesn’t seem “right”. I know that sounds lame, but if they are just going to reprint incentive variants (even if it is a 1:10) what’s the point in ever caring about them or going out of your way to get ahold of them. Sure, for shops, they are getting them at a cheap amount if they are ordering books anyway, but with few exceptions, most customers have to spend more, or take some form of effort to get ahold of them.
I wanted the book because I like Bloodstone and thought it was cool. I sure wouldn’t have paid more for it, bought a package (even at the amazing, fair, and friendly price Villain gave us), had I known I could just wait and grab a follow up printing.
It seems like it sets a really bad precedent too. I fully understand that Marvel is in the business of printing books and making money. Would they do this for a popular 1:25? Any other incentive cover?
I don’t know, just doesn’t sit well with me.
