Because Kirkman is overrated, at least for me. He’s not a great writer. He hit gold on Walking Dead (early issues) and Invincible… from that point on, all his stuff is just sub par or just terrible.

I’m waiting on getting issue 4 before I read it. But my opinion is that likely the answer is “no” given all the primary
characters introduced past issue 1 are pre-existing (going by spoilers though, not having read it yet).
I am collecting these for my PC as a Transformers/GI Joe fan, and that’s pretty much the only expectation I have. I’m not chasing incentives or exclusives unless they appeal to me from a PC perspective.

its not a bad read but it feels more like an intro for the Energon Universe. It’s only 6 issues, I havent seen any solicit for a 7th.

Yeah, I didn’t pick up issue 2 as all the covers sucked, IMO. Glad I did because I’ll be grabbing B and C covers.
