Did these third prints ever happen? I don’t see them on League of Comic Geeks, which is where I pre-order everything with my LCS.

I think these are back stock vs. reprints… but I could be wrong.
No they aren’t overstock, according to the article Dollar Tree says they are “same stories, different ads” and created specifically for them.

I would say new 52 Batman #1 and maybe Batman 89 are worth it.
I love this idea (Dollar Tree).
I will not be purchasing anything here; since my goal is profit.
That said, this is the perfect avenue for moms/dads with their young kids that walk in and want to buy a comic book or two for a paltry $1.25. Parents will likely oblige. The child will likely peruse/read the comics and it’s another way to keep the hobby healthy for the future.
Go for it Dollar Tree… now maybe all Dollar Stores will follow similarly.

While the title selection is pretty meh in my opinion, I do think publishers need to start doing more of this to build their fan base.
It does say that they have more titles they plan to add to this, so hopefully they can get more going. Marvel, your turn.

available polybagged to avoid the mauling that similar comics have had in the likes of Walmart.
I don’t think I understand this. The Mauling was the polybag books, because people wanted the ratio variants or scarce reprints that were inside.
Putting a polybag around a single book doesn’t do much of anything…people will still grab the stack and bend it forward to see behind the books…which results in damage.
except maybe protect it from the elements. And sticky fingers of infants allowed to roam freely through the store.
I reviewed that, “Final Faction: First Impact,” comic on my blog, actually. I figured it was worth a review and was surprised how entertaining it actually was as a comic literally created by Dollar Tree. The toys are kinda neat that tie-in too.

Interesting. I still find it odd even one person would submit this book to CGC, I bought one of the 50 that were on the rack to go into my oddball box. The back of the book promises the continuation in a 2nd issue, any idea if that one ever got printed?
From what I have been able to find out there has not been any second issue since I reviewed that first issue in 2022. Perhaps another one will get made when they make some more toys to tie-in?
Let’s keep talking about it though so KCC and others end up putting it in their top picks for the week or so…
