Well, they are in the business of making money and making what’s hot that likely sells right? 
If I ran a business, I’d keep trying to make and sell what everyone is buying. Marvel doesn’t give two shits about your after market value collectors and speculators create from their own demand when Marvel is selling for pennies on the dollars. It’s quantities for them to keep printing comics… if they limited printings to appease collectors, expect those $4.99 and $5.99 books to start off with $19.99 retail prices… 
The B&W may help signatures stand out more…but I think the prior printings are still better for that and spec.
