Thor #2 is up to a 6th print…A B&W cover…still has the sneak preview of strange academy…you’d think they’d save a few pages of ink by now since 3 issues are out…
But then its different from yhe others and can’t be considered a 6th printing…
Aren’t the adds different in subsequent printings???

I think the contents though, story and previews always stay the same though to keep it as original to the first printing.
I think I need to drop venom and just have my LCS order the 2nd & 3rd prints…
Definitely grabbing the Shang-Chi as well for a long term hold.
Now if only I can stay on top of the TFAW thread and get the 1:25 below ratio for the 5 seconds it will be live…
I dunno about other shops, but my LCS has been going very heavy on all the later printings for Venom, Thor, etc. I’m thinking I’m slowing down the pre-orders in a major way and if something looks promising or is heating up, I’ll scramble to order what I can. There are just too many people doing the same thing right now. I know I know…this post really sucks…
That’s the thing with later prints, you got to wait a year or two for some A-hole who just started collecting to write it up on a new blog comic site how it’s the bees knees and everyone should own it at the price he’s paying. Then everyone that reads that BS rushes out and buys up all listed copies and relists them for crazy higher prices. Meanwhile you’re like WTF I could had 100 copies for a $1 when it came out.
Thats my type of response everytime I buy a Mega Millions ticket… “I could have picked those 6 numbers…”

Please make it stop…I think my credit card is on fire from all these other printings! My OCD can’t take it, knowing another printing is out there for the series I collect!

Yep. I know. Strange Academy is one that I’ve been getting all of the covers for (excluding those damn Ross Timeless ones), but do we really need a 1st and 2nd print of EVERY BOOK?!? I’m starting to skip a lot of these with Thor, Venom, etc. It was the internal panel as a cover that did it for me. If I’m paying for the book AGAIN, at least give me a new cover.
I’ve been skipping every additional printing unless there is a first appearance or major plot point (Thor 6 2nd print). In reality those are the only additional printings that will even gain heat in the future anyways. Also saves a lot of
