There is a local shop that buys collections and sells off the bigger keys for going rate. Lower keys are like $4.99 and all the rest are $2.
I have always said to buy ASM under #100 when ever you can find them and especially if they are cheap.

There are two - three shops around me that I pulled all those plus many more from. I try to buy as cheap as I can for resale and know that everything I have will eventually be for sale.
For $2, I’d buy them coverless with coupons cut out and scribbled on…

Most of the lesser known places here that sell comics go the other way. They have the 90s Turok 1 folded in half for $14.99.

There are a couple of places that I have been hitting that really deal in bulk. They have expensive books on the walls. Some regularly priced back issues and then when new collections come in the bulk them out. Guy literally called me on Friday and said to come up for Batman and Spider-man books. So on Friday I took off and went. He had First Batgirl and First Punisher from the collections. Some other real key books as well. I don’t usually buy their “priced books” but did get the First Frank Miller DD from them that I have up on eBay. Paid $20 for it. Already have a copy so…. But did get his second issue which I was missing for $2. All the .25 cent books were from the other store from FCBD. Also got some golden aged books I didn’t show yet.
Anyway I got off track. They deal in bulk. Get the books in and make their money back as soon as possible.

The 1 / for the price is the UK variant from a quick lookup… not sure how accurate that is.
