Auction house shipping fees

Hello Team,

I am trying to figure out shipping for 1-2 slabs from these auction house:

  1. Heritage Auction Shipping (?) + (20%) Buyer Fees + Sales Tax
  2. Comic Connect (Shipping ?) + (15%) Buyer Fees + Sales Tax
  3. ComicLink (Shipping ?) + (?) Buyer Fees + Sales Tax
  4. Reese Rare Comics (Shipping $15)
  5. MyComicShop (Shipping Approx $9) + (3% Buyer Fees if item is consignment) + Sales Tax

If anyone has experience buying from these places and know their shipping price for 1-2 slabs, can you kindly provide these information.

I’m in the midwest US, in case the shipping charges differ based on your location.

Heritage, one slab $21 shipping

Comic Connect/Metropolis, one slab $17 shipping

ComicLink to Southern California was $15 for up to 3 books. This was about 3yrs ago. Buyers fee was $10.

That sounds about right. For me, total for a $54 win cost $74 total shipped. A 3% buyer premium plus 6.25% state sales tax would be $59…and that leaves $15 to ship. Which I think is a flat rate. Also 3 years ago.
