Heh…I bet the folks who passed on some very fairly priced Doom FF books, other Doom books I had out this past weekend at a show are regretting the hell out of not pulling the trigger.

I think this is part of the Marvel fade that’s happened the past few years. Infinity War and End Game were so epic. This massive, perfect wrap up of a decade long story. Now everyone’s expectations are just not realistic. Sure, some of what they’ve done has been flat out bad. But, some has been pretty good.
I think we all need a bit of a reality check with our expectations. I’m including myself here.

I’m actually looking forward to seeing this. I’ve been waiting many years to see a complete MCU. Fantastic Four, The Avengers and it’s about time The X-Men.

I’m curious enough to see it in theaters. More than I can say for any Marvel flick since the Sam Rami-directed Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Avengers Doomsday is going to be great and break records again, but studio execs told us Gen Z don’t care about superheroes…
Doubt it will break tickets sold records. If it breaks revenue it’s only because everything costs so much more than it did back in 2019.
It’s pretty ridiculous how much prices of tickets have gone up in only 5 or 6 years. I still think it’s going to be great and might smash records. People have such fond memories of Endgame and have been waiting for a return for when Marvel was great. And let’s be honest RDJ coming back after so many years it’s going to drive crazy ticket sales. Everything about this screams record breaker, even total ticket sales.
