DO NOT buy these off someone that you dont know or trust
opened less than 20 of them so far (ordered 25) got all my foils -
unfortunately like 5 where the advanced #2 and 2 or 3 of each on the others didnt really count

…make no mistake…there will be A LOT of these made and sold…people are talking about it and hyping it…and it’s likely a sign of things to come for comic books. So it’s highly unlikely you’ll get much of anything of any value in these blind bags. It’s essentially like a scratch off ticket. So for that reason this is the Dirty D Drek-of-the-Week

Eh, I’ll buy one at the comic shop for fun much in the same way where if I’m at the gas station I’ll get some lottery with my snacks and soda. I usually lose but sometimes win some bucks.
The Battle Beast #1 issues are thicker (and heavier). The surprise inserts are thinner and lighter. I classified 20 copies using that and hit all surprise inserts on the thinner ones.

Lunar put out a letter reminding retailers of the shop date and that they aren’t supposed to be released before wednesday. Just a slap on the wrist.

with bags being able to be searched so easily, anyone buying now aint getting a rare.
Are the rare books surprise inserts? Like the foils?
I’d think they were heavier stock.
The reprints and the advanced #2 are foils with thicker cardstock. But since #1 is like a double issue it’s easy to tell even in the bag if you’re getting some version of #1 or one of the surprise inserts.
oh and the bags might be resealable from the back
