With this title selling 400k copies, I’d expect to see more of this coming soon. And, why not go the path of the cards with more rare surprise books in these? Sure it’s a gimmick, but it’s worked incredibly well with sports cards. Comic sales are lagging, so why not do more of this? I kind of dig it.
And, don’t you think it’s surprising that there’s not a new Invincible title in the works? The first volume books are really hard to find for reasonable prices. Dollars waiting for you, Kirkman!

I read it, Battle Beast fights a big alien and captures a small alien.
I used the “grab the lighter blind bag” method and got two Invincibles. Grabbed a third thicker one to see what I’d get… a blank. Three is about as heavy as I’m going on this (or just about any title).

So far I have only gotten a cover A and a blank. The wife has 6 unopened ones for me - she wants me to sell them instead of opening though.

Watching the eBay Live stream of Big Clutch, I would pay money for them to have a camera on the buyers when they rip open those trading packs. The look must be priceless when you pay $400 for $30 in comics.

My stupid shop was only limiting to 1 per person and they are a bigger shop. I have 8 more coming sometime next week from an online order, so guess I’ll be waiting to see if I got anything good then.

No, they are the trading packs, 3 books in a trading pack. One was an Pete Carrol exclusive, one a copy of the books you can find in the 3.99 blind bags, and one Invincible book, original books from original series , including 26 original sketches by different artists on Invincible blanks. The idea is cool, just not $400 cool.

Opened Five of the packs I had preordered via my shop. I would have had more as I had ordered via TFAW but oh well.

Of note, these were all completely sold out in my area.
It was also interesting as one store didn’t keep any of theirs unopenedthey opened all of them and then just put them out on the shelves at various prices. I thought that was odd but whatever.
The blind bags are starting to go up in price. Seeing sold prices in the $9 range for unopened bags.

I actually had quite the run of luck with my packs. I had 20 in total, in the first 8 I opened I got:
1 Blank
1 Cover B
1 1:50
1 Marvel Team-Up Foil reprint
2 Invincible #19 Foil reprint
1 Advance copy Foil
1 Cover A
Got almost the whole range so stopped opening, also the Art Adams 1:50 is the one I wanted. Sold the 4 Foil reprints that paid for the entire 20 blind bags and I think I’ll sell the rest sealed.
Anyone else wondering if Cover J - the die cut one, is among the rarest of all the covers since it wasn’t in the Blind Bags, cost a dollar more, and even the 1:1000 would have 400 copies?
