They allocated it before they even sent the order # to the printers… 
If anyone wants to see how awesome they look in person our Universal store should have one on display there, as well.
Made sense to give them one of the copies to display given the whole theme of the park…
You know, we can put a stop to this right? It’s the simplest solution (invoke Occam’s Razor), stop shopping at these retailers. Problem solved!

That’s like $70 a book US. Still cheaper than Midtown. I think this and the second print are obviously the ones to get and will probably get even higher prices when the movie comes out. Even for a speculator, whether you like Boom! or not, it might not be a bad buy. Their books are also really high quality and unless they get damaged I would expect several of them to be 9.8’s.
I will also say I won’t be trying to buy that but I have hopefully 5 copies lined up that will all be cover price.
So, the thing here is, they actually call it the Speculator 5 Pack. WTF? A real speculator should not be buying at 4/5th the going price from a retailer who’s playing the secondary market themselves to squeeze out a smaller profit margin that might end up going for much less by the time you even get them in hand.
So these guys can go F themselves. I hope no one buys, let them sit on them I say…

They should call it a “card collector 5 pack”, because thats whose going to buy these at inflated prices.

Don’t worry, I’m sure BOOM! will stir the pot, announce the printers only printed X amount, claim allocation, a 5th printing is on the way… BOOM! is playing the speculator market. They want to sell a billion of these things when no one is truly demanding them and guess what? They’re winning at the games they’re playing…
