Been looking for this book for an eon in even reasonable shape. No such luck.
It is truly a “ghost” 
My boys loved that Casper movie.
Even as a kiddo myself, I loved Casper and have some pics of my childhood room with some Casper artwork on the wall (as my mother though it was cute).
Casper, Winnie-the Pooh, and Scooby Doo----favorites of many a kiddo in the early 70’s!
@D-Rog The really funny thing is…I also and had that exact costume. You just brought back some amazing memories from seeing that! Thank you for posting it! I’m feeling really nostalgic about it…happy times.
Oh…I also now have the little jingle stuck in my head as well…
“He’s Casper the friendly ghost…the friendliest ghost you know…though grown ups might look at him with fright…the children all love him so” 
They have to play Daniel Johnston’s Casper song in this show…
