With so many teams at 4-4 and 3-5, this makes for some crucial games coming up as we hit the mid-season. And 2-6 is by no means out of contention. Huge match ups this weekend. Going to be a nail biter. Good luck to all.
Looks like most of the matchup projections are within a couple points of each other. Should be a wild week. I won’t jinx myself but most of the games look like toss ups! Good luck, all!
Oh yeah, you are correct, sir! It’s going to be weird, wild stuff. Good luck to all!
I am in last place. Bad luck to all of you.
Well, I had a feeling this week was going to be the week, and it looks like the rest of the season’s only going to get tougher. Any given Sunday, right? Anybody’s game!
Yeah man, this is certainly weird, wild stuff. It’s vale tudo up in here!
Still waiting for the league to make a stat adjustment from the prior week’s games so I can be handed 0.13 extra points (or my opponent lose 0.13 points) so I get the win…
Doesn’t look like it’s going to happen….that loss is going to haunt me the rest of the way…
That 0.13 pts is the difference between being tied for 4th place, instead of last.
As a Jets fan, I was never all that big on pre Madonna Aaron Rodgers. His inability to get wins last year when the Jets had the ball…whether he just needed to get a first down to end the game, or drive down the field for the go-ahead score at the end…was the difference between 10-5 and 5-10. He failed in every single opportunity last year.
So I was ok they let him go. Even if it meant throwing away 2025 (as there are a few QBs coming out in 2026 that have franchise changing potential).
Yea, it was a hard pill to swallow when the Jets had to face him week 1, and lost a game they should most certainly have won…but after that I felt it was over.
That was until last night…my fantasy team facing off against an opponent whose roster up and down is San Diego Chargers…
The odds going into Sunday nights contest for my team was 77% of winning…but Rodgers had to stick it to me one more time…with perhaps his most abysmal performance of his career…holy cow. Granted SD has a good team…nothing against them and their players…but he played a big roll in my almost 30 pt lead turning into a 23 point deficit.
Still favored to win (slightly) as I have two players going tonight…but both had injuries last week I believe may factor into their performance. We’ll seee.
Just had to vent on Rodgers…bah!!!
Rodgers has spoiled many a game for me in IRL. I feel your pain.
Ouch… Talk about long suffering.
D, probably not the best time to tell you I’m from New England. ![]()
Henderson pounded my team for nearly 30
points. That was weird, wild stuff.
Last week going into Sunday Night I was favored to win as 74% odds going into the game…then Aaron Rodgers took the night off against the Chargers…
BTW, where were these Charges last week?
This week, it’s 80% odds…and yet I still feel very insecure about my chances of getting a W….
Let’s see if the Dirty D collapse can continue for yet another week…
You got it this week, Lord Dirtiness. It was weird and wild, though. Horrible game.
Up by 6 points…with only the Cowboys DST left.
So of course I immediately researched whether it was mathematically possible for a DST to score -6 points. Because then I would have to consider benching them to seal the win…because that’s the type of a dirty thing this D would do.
But it does appear that the only way for a DST to go into the negative is by points allowed. And it caps at -4.
Since DSTs get 2 pts for fumble recoveries on special teams (+2), I would have thought they’d get penalized for losing a fumble (-2). But it doesn’t appear as though they do. Pittsburg muffed a punt (lost the fumble) last week and the Chargers DST got +2….Pittsburg DST was not penalized.
So with that, I can safely play the Boys. I mean, they’re playing the Raiders too. Average 15 ppg (high of 29)…not that Dallas is a defensive juggernaut (31 ppg allowed).
Something’s got to give!!!
You got it this week! I was delusional thinking JJ McCarthy was gonna have more than 10 points!
At this time Justin Fields had the 4th best fantasy day of all QBs. In fact, 3 of the top 4 this week were free agents.
That tells you it was a bad week for all QBs…except Josh Allen. But he’s #2 in pts behind John Taylor for the season…so in a league all his own.
How did Rusty Staples get both those guys?! No wonder he’s 10-1.
I’d say clean living but it’s luck more than anything! lol
All my guys way underperformed except for Josh Allen. If Wrecked would have updated his roster, it would have been a whole lot closer than how it ended.
