Today marks my 7 year anniversary on the forums which makes the forums officially 7 years old today, since I was the first one with an account after spinning it up to setup, configure and design the forums.
So Happy Birthday to the CHU Forums!!! It’s amazing it’s only been 7 years, seems like not so long ago these were still new and getting off the ground right before COVID hit the world and I think that COVID is what helped the forums grow faster after the initial slow start when people started becoming trapped at home… 
Huge thanks to all the members here that makes this the best Comic related discussion out on the interwebs!

Congrats! I too found the forum during Covid although I don’t remember how. It wasn’t through any particular person, could’ve been from an article that I found this forum. I don’t really know.
I just knew I was sitting at home during Covid and I was consuming a lot of comic book related content from places like youtube, bleedingstool etc. I was genuinely worried that the comic book industry was going to die tbh. I know that a lot of my LCS are run by store owners that were older, weren’t really innovative and were just happy to be doing what they were doing. They were hanging by a thread. This pandemic would surely kill them as a business. A lot of them didn’t make it sadly.
I still don’t know how I got here and what triggered me to sign up. Is there a way to find out our very first post? I was never much of a speculator to be honest. I had a pull list from my shop of books that I wanted to read when I got back into the hobby (mainly the Image boom, lots of good books).
