I had no desire to go to the LCS…regardless books are delayed by Diamond again…
Just went to my LCS, it’s been chaos. They got their DCs for this week but nothing else (maybe because DC is from Lunar). Still haven’t got their diamond shipment from last week also.
My local shops are still dealing with a bunch of Diamond delays.
Here, too. Diamond is in big trouble.
What’s the reason for the Diamond delays? I haven’t been following , is it the warehouse closings?
This seems like a real big for comic shops. I know my shop hasn’t got anything in for at least 2 weeks. That’s a killer for any comic shop relying on new releases.
Yes. Warehouse issues. A lot of the retailers I talk to are rapidly losing confidence. In this business, you need your product on time, or customers go elsewhere.
It’s one thing if it’s a temporary problem. After 4 weeks of this not feeling temporary anymore. Leaning more towards a systemic issue.
This, on top of their issues with packaging and damages, Diamond is likely hanging on by a thread with comic distribution…
