The comic speculation market is just so weak right now. Why buy a new comic when you can buy old comics at a discount that you know will be worth more money when the market returns to normal?

Even blue chip keys are not immune from price fluctuations. Weā€™ve seen many silver, bronze, copper keys this year drop 50, 60 70%.

My strategy is to always buy cheap and sell high. If Iā€™m wrong on a modern spec Iā€™m only out cover price less 30%

Iā€™m having a hard time selling graded keys at the lowest price on eBay. Itā€™s a great time to buy for sure. Buy those silver, bronze & copper keys while thereā€™s a lull.

I stopped at my LCS today to pick up a monthā€™s worth of pulls plus this weekā€™s DC and I in addition to my WW 800 Cover K they had to have had 20+ copies on the shelf.

You must visit a large LCS.

I can guarantee mine will have 0 (zero). But itā€™s a small LCS. Iā€™m not sure of the breakdown of how many ā€œMidtownā€™sā€
vs Small Towns to know what the bulk of shops are likely to do. Most small shops would likely not go heavy on this book, much less variants.

Shortā€term spec is great to recover costs. Who cares if you make more off each book by holding. Otherwise, your inventory takes up too much profit and you canā€™t deduct it yet
