Maybe it’s time to quit if you didn’t understand her reference to your own comment.

You as Batman? I was saying you couldn’t draw a picture of you as batman. OOOOHHHH you thought I thought I was referencing Alana’s F*ed up comment. No I was saying agentpoyo, you can’t draw yourself as batman.

I’m Batman

No I got that, you said you were lost replying to Alana who was replying to you…

I could draw myself as Batman if I wanted… would I though? No, cause I’d just look like Batman with a beard…

you could draw a bat suit? Who are you Peach Momoko?

I can draw when I really want to and try… here’s a sketch I did of Spider-Man where I gave it away on CHU a couple years back…

So yeah, I could probably draw a bat suit if I wanted…

This cover is really nice.

To be honest I don’t count store exclusives because they can draw whatever and try to market it as 1st cover of whoever. Like Venom 26 Inhyuk Lee had Codex on the cover but everyone saw 27 as the 1st full Codex.

This thread has been absolutely awesome — well, the last 70 comments or so. Very glad I left this for morning coffee and laughing. I am actually looking forward to Batman’s dark passion for beastiality in the public domain - it’s going to get real weird. I like it.

Sorry I’ve been away for a few days and just catching up on this thread.

  1. I don’t understand where the first cover debate comes from. He’s on every cover, including the A & B of issue 1. His first “unmasked cover” is irrelevant. Spidey first cover is AF15. I don’t care what cover his mask was off on years later.

  2. They are sticking with these characters and using infinite frontier to bridge the gap between present and future state. New Batman will be around for a while. Or until he changes to a new character down the road. You can easily have multiple Batman for different timelines. Tim’s stories can be in the future. Comics aren’t stuck to our concepts of time. Peter Parker isn’t in his 70s.

  3. Bruce Wayne isn’t going anywhere.

Before AF15 there weren’t other versions of Spider-Man running around. So you know it’s Peter Parker behind the mask.

This is a little different as the mask-less confirms the identity…not that there was any doubt. So I get it, but it Doesn’t do anything for me either.

Isn’t it clear that Tim/Jace is Batman in issue 1? So you wouldn’t need the cover of 2 to confirm that as you already know from issue 1. I haven’t read it but I’m pretty sure it was clear from the spoilers iirc.

I’ve been reading up on infinite frontier and they mentioned future state and said that there is unlimited potential as to where the future state stories go so hopefully some of this future state spec pays off

shadowy billionaire Simon Saint pitches an advanced law-enforcement system to the new mayor!

That is from a Batman #106 solicit could it be about future states magistrate?

Detective comics #1034

‘the growing anti-vigilante sentiment in Gotham’

Yeah Batman #106 and Detective #1034 are must grabs for possible spec. Cheap spec if not #106 A/B has some nice covers either way.
