Reminds me of when there was a Superman short story that wasn’t even in continuity about him declaring he is a citizen of the World and not America. The point was Superman represents the best of everyone on the planet but some news sites made it sound like it was about Superman insulting America or being embarrassed to be American or such. Missing the point…

If anyone cared to actually read the comic, it would make much more sense that Joker swallowed some clayface type of mud when Zatanna rejected his advances, to throw it up the next morning. A vomited mud monster is not ‘getting pregnant’.

That’s almost the entire nation, because the news media (a business) bends, twists, or completely distorts the truth to make one side happy and anger the other side while simultaneously generating profit.

Either watch/read both sides if you want to really grasp what’s going on but make sure to think for yourself, not allowing the media to control what you’re thinking. If you don’t watch/read both sides, then just don’t watch/read any media I say, cause then you are truly lost in the abyss of whichever side you fall into.
Anyways, let’s get back on topic about DC heating up…

Not attacking, and I don’t mean this ironically, but source?
My opinion: I think the main stumbling block (in the US) is if you want to work in news, in most cases you’re working for a corporation and thus beholden to their editorial direction and their advertisers.
I have an anonymous source. Very close to the situation. See what I mean?

I’d disagree and think the media is incredibly important. It isn’t perfect, but we need it to call out corruption and such. Tyrants and dictators often go after the media first, for obvious reasons. If you make the media the enemy people only listen to the beloved leader.

Weirdly enough I picked up an early Destro appearance today at an estate reseller shop.
I was excited to see this new character design in Superman 2. I thought, kind of a Moon Knight vibe, but I’m sure she’s very different from Moon Knight.
Then I see her name is Moonlight, and she only works at night. Definitely very different from Moon Knight. I don’t know this for sure, but I’m guessing she’s the avatar of the god Kronchpoo.
