I would imagine Disney hired a whole bunch of lawyers ready to pounce on anyone who doesn’t use the correct Mickey.

Maybe but probably not, Disney is cheap. Ex wife worked an ABC show and said Disney would nitpick every single expense. Said the Disney overlords were the worst to work for.
