eBay Headaches

I’m in the same boat. I’d rather just see “Cancel Request” without some bullshit storied attached… no reason to make the process tedious, just accept and move on if you haven’t even shipped it yet.

I just realized a person who bought a couple of books from me that are now worth almost double of what I sold them for, hasn’t paid in three days. F-them I am relisting them.

You must have accepted a best offer.

That feature only encourages dead beats.

Nope, not at all, it was a buy it now and they requested a combined shipping, they didn’t pay.

They snoozed and…losed.

Does anyone else get, or know of someone who gets, personalized coupon codes from eBay for 10% off comic book purchase?

I keep getting ones for sports cards, which I have no interest in. My wife, however, keeps getting them for comic books! I haven’t bought a comic book on eBay since March. You’d think they’d send one to ME!!

These are personalized so I can’t use her code. And I don’t want to purchase one using her account…

I have never never gotten one

I’ve gotten them multiple times in the past, sometimes a $15 or 10% off coupon. Ever since I started selling comics regularly, no more of those coupons… go figure.

I still get coupons fairly regularly for computers, auto parts and other stuff.

Like throw us a freakin bone here for bringing you so much business.

Maybe I should give eBay a call and say “WTF, Man?!”

I get coupons for stuff I’d never buy on eBay, like jewelry. I have no idea why it sends irrelevant offers when even the dumbest algorithm should be able to pick up on what I do buy and sell.

In all my years on ebay I have never bought anything other than comics ever. You would think their algorithm would be smart enough to know that if they gave me a coupon for comics I would be buying more. Why do I need coupons for cosmetics?

I get vacuum cleaner ones from Dyson all the time. I do vacuum a lot and recently broke a dyson, but nah, I don’t need a new one every two months

I wonder if they think we’ll buy stuff for the spouse on eBay.

I don’t know if I’ve ever bought a gift other than a toy for my kids on eBay…

eBay has totally lost their way in the last 5 years alone. It is a clown show ran by a CEO that has no clue on what he is doing. He should of stayed at Walmart and ran that company into the ground.

Linda must have a ton of stuff to unload and need the money STAT.

Linda has a notorious drug problem and trying to get clean. Meanwhile she has ran up her credit card and trying to get back on her feet.

I just got an email from an ebay order in france claiming i did not include all the slabs in the order.

the order was for 5 slabs and the buyer claims he only received 2. What is the best way to handle this case? this is the 1st time this has happened to me.

thanks

That’s flat-out robbery. What is the name of the buyer? Was the order insured properly? IF Ebay isn’t much help you may be able to claim some of the order was stolen in transit.

I always try to document high volume orders or expensive orders. Will film myself packing up the order with the label.

Was it sent through eBay’s international buyer program or just straight from you?
