The wife sold an item on eBay. Shipped fed-ex ground economy which was insured up to $100, but fed-ex used USPS ground for the last leg (delivery from the post office).
Was clearly marked fragile and packaged well, however it still arrived damaged.
USPS says it’s fed-ex’s problem. Fed Ex won’t return phone calls or messages. Can’t get a human on the line.
I keep telling her not to sell fragile things as no company is capable of shipping fragile items without being damages anymore….no matter how well you package them.
And yes, this is on Fed-Ex. If they insured the package and handed it off to someone else to finish the delivery, they should be paying for the insurance through them if that’s the game they’re playing. Good luck, I’d just show up to the Fed Ex office. We live in a world where no one wants to man phones…
As a joke you should send a package through each of the carrier services marked fragile and say indestructible packaging all over the box and see what they look like at the other end. Would make a good video…
I’m the seller. Zap is the buyer. He bought Wolverine 8 and it was delivered yesterday morning. Today he reported the transaction to his bank requesting a refund.
I think he’s trying to get a free book, honestly. Charge back after the book was delivered. According to ebay, I’m protected right now. So we will see what happens.
Wow I’m just hitting the lottery with morons this week. Sell a Magik 3 1:100. Advertised as NM. Small bindary tear. Buyer says the corner has a “1mm” tear and wants a refund. Explain it’s a bindary tear, a production defect and I’m accused of selling a defective product for full price. Offer a partial refund of $20 and says the book is a VF at best with the 1mm bindary tear. I instruct the buyer to just please initiate a return and never buy from me again. Official return request says there is a tear that brings the grade down to a 9.6. NM was the advertised grade.
