This happens to me probably once a month; however, most of the time itās an adjustment in my favor (paying more for postage than I should have).

I actually had a douchebag contact me on Mercari today. I listed a $45 book for $35. He hit me up and said he would give me $30 shipped. I said no. He said the last sold copy was $20. I said correct, for a damaged copy at auction. I sent him the comp copies recently sold all over $40. He called me delusional. I called him a cheap ass. He said that was no way to treat a customer. I told him you are only a customer if you buy something, sending lowball offers just makes you a cheap ass. Then I blocked him.
Wait a minuteā¦ I pleaded for a new bucket and you replied saying there were not any funds availableā¦ 
There are no funds for buckets in the budget.

Thatās where you just tell him to go find one for $20 and stop bothering you.
Even if the last copy sold for $20, doesnāt mean anything if youāre still the lowest copy available. How do you think collectibles appreciate?

I seem to be getting hit with a lot more trolls recently. I have all my comics listed as buy it now with best offer and most books I sell I will normally take up to 20% off because my buy ins are normally very low. But I love when people offer 75% to 90% off and those are always the ones that make a stupid comment to go with it. I donāt have time for stupid anymore, I just move along.
I wish Mercari would have the ability to turn off best offers.

Every so often I do get someone messaging me looki. For my best priceā¦and I gently point out my best price is better than anyone elseās (which is most often the case). And leave it at that.
If theyāre rude, theyāre blocked.
When you have the two cheapest copies of a book on eBay, and some asshat send you the following message.
Then follows up by asking for more pictures. Banned.

Whoa. Someone just messaged me on ebay saying this guy is on a mission to bury my selling credibility now. Heās posting all over saying my books are all flawed. I told him he was banned, and now heās upset, apparently. 
Iād STRONGLY considering banning this dude before he tries to mess with you.
Thanks added to my blocked list. Funny he said he is going to ruin your reputation but to be honest I think he will be able to do very little. I would occasionally search your eBay user name on Google and if you see him posting places post images of the conversation.
