eBay Headaches

For spite should be an option to cancel an order…

Apologize for canceling the order as you had intended to block him due to his less than impressive way he approached the last sale. Just be honest!

I don’t know why I’m dragging my feet on this. The whole process of canceling an order makes me feel icky. He still hasn’t paid yet. However, I’m bracing myself for my first ever negative feedback from this guy if I go along with this sale :frowning:

Against my better judgment, I did an auction (I NEVER do auctions) on a trading card I acquired and was unsure about the value of. I had someone bid on it but at the last second someone else outbid them by five bucks. A brand new account (which isn’t always bad, we all were new to eBay once). I mesage this account as I do anytime someone buys anything from me to thank them for their purchase and get zero response. I message the next day if they have any questions about paying I’m happy to help. No response. I suspect this is someone sabatoging me as the same card was listed by other folks for more money. I don’t want to wait to open a, “Buyer didn’t pay,” case within another chunk of hours as it is a clearly some kind of fake account. I simply cancel saying I noticed a problem with the address as eBay will let ya do. I relisted, told the person who got outbid that I had the item now listed as a, “Buy it now,” for what they bid. They bought it, and off it went. I just hope it arrives safely to them now. Long story short, I feel zero remorse for my cancellation. ZERO! You should cancel, @SpicyWasabi and never look back!

You guys are not going to believe this lol :joy:

So I went to go cancel the order and to block the individual. I then noticed the buyer ID is different (?) Did this guy make a new account? What is going on here? I then see that this new buyer is in Canada. What are the chances it’s 2 completely different people with the exact same name :joy:

This is the original buyer who opened the case on me. Take a look at the name and user ID. I blocked out the last 3 digits of his name and zip code. He was from Los Angeles.

This is the new buyer. Look at the name and user ID. He’s from Canada.

Looks like it’s a false alarm and they’re completely different people who both happen to have the same first and last name and likes comics. :joy:

Odd, I have 4 copies of USM 13 up and have now sold 3 already within the 2 or 3 weeks.

What are you listing them at?

I think I sold a few originally at $20 + $7 shipping. It then sat for a while so I had them for $15 +$7 ship just to get rid of it.

Mine neither. But I’m going to list all my USMs in a multiple issue listing and try to move them. I’ve sold a number of issues, but that one may need to be paired with others.

Mine have been sitting at $12 with no movement.

I don’t see it actively listed…but I see you’ve sold 2 copies.

Is this you?

I got a negative feedback once for like a $5 comic…and it was for something really ridiculous….person never even reached out to me…found out months after the fact. I would have just refunded them. It falls off the radar after 12 months.
