Apologize for canceling the order as you had intended to block him due to his less than impressive way he approached the last sale. Just be honest!

I donāt know why Iām dragging my feet on this. The whole process of canceling an order makes me feel icky. He still hasnāt paid yet. However, Iām bracing myself for my first ever negative feedback from this guy if I go along with this sale ![]()
Against my better judgment, I did an auction (I NEVER do auctions) on a trading card I acquired and was unsure about the value of. I had someone bid on it but at the last second someone else outbid them by five bucks. A brand new account (which isnāt always bad, we all were new to eBay once). I mesage this account as I do anytime someone buys anything from me to thank them for their purchase and get zero response. I message the next day if they have any questions about paying Iām happy to help. No response. I suspect this is someone sabatoging me as the same card was listed by other folks for more money. I donāt want to wait to open a, āBuyer didnāt pay,ā case within another chunk of hours as it is a clearly some kind of fake account. I simply cancel saying I noticed a problem with the address as eBay will let ya do. I relisted, told the person who got outbid that I had the item now listed as a, āBuy it now,ā for what they bid. They bought it, and off it went. I just hope it arrives safely to them now. Long story short, I feel zero remorse for my cancellation. ZERO! You should cancel, @SpicyWasabi and never look back!
You guys are not going to believe this lol ![]()
So I went to go cancel the order and to block the individual. I then noticed the buyer ID is different (?) Did this guy make a new account? What is going on here? I then see that this new buyer is in Canada. What are the chances itās 2 completely different people with the exact same name ![]()

This is the original buyer who opened the case on me. Take a look at the name and user ID. I blocked out the last 3 digits of his name and zip code. He was from Los Angeles.

This is the new buyer. Look at the name and user ID. Heās from Canada.
Looks like itās a false alarm and theyāre completely different people who both happen to have the same first and last name and likes comics. ![]()
Good luck with the sale all the same. Also, damn My USM 13 just will not sell
Odd, I have 4 copies of USM 13 up and have now sold 3 already within the 2 or 3 weeks.
What are you listing them at?
I think I sold a few originally at $20 + $7 shipping. It then sat for a while so I had them for $15 +$7 ship just to get rid of it.
Mine neither. But Iām going to list all my USMs in a multiple issue listing and try to move them. Iāve sold a number of issues, but that one may need to be paired with others.
Mine have been sitting at $12 with no movement.
I got a negative feedback once for like a $5 comicā¦and it was for something really ridiculousā¦.person never even reached out to meā¦found out months after the fact. I would have just refunded them. It falls off the radar after 12 months.
Just ship it like you always do but maybe this time just pay for the signature requirement I say. And if it arrives, no damages and he still leaves negative, youāll easily get eBay to remove it.
What the hell? It was literally on there last night when I looked it up.
And yes, that is me.
Regardlessā¦this guy has 4 copies at a fraction of what weāre askingā¦so we aināt selling any copies for a while if we donāt adjust.
Stupid people gonna act stupid
High asking prices donāt set valueācompleted sales do.
If you list higher than what others are listing them at and selling them for, youāre just trying to inflate the value and if you think everyone should list at the same higher price range, then thatās just you manipulating the market.
Sell what you think its worth, others may not agree. Personally, Iām holding USM #13 at that price, seems like one of the bigger keys for that run.
