eBay Headaches

Living it up in Anthony’s basement with those snickers. And those ice cream bars?! I even like freezing the regular ones.

Frozen snickers are the Shit.

I mean that in a good way!

Yes they are. So evil… I avoid at all costs cause those boxes that come with 6 last like one night…

But if you underpay…oh ho ho ho ho…look out! They will pester your a$$ every day until you manually log in to your PayPal account, find the notification and pay it. Acting like they don’t have access to your payment methods already and acting like your user contract doesn’t already allow them to take those discrepancies out automatically. Pain in the ass.

I wasn’t aware of that. I always add an extra two ounces after weighing and before paying all the time. Heck the USPS tells you to round up the weight.

If it is .4 or less I round down. .5 or more I round-up.

In other words…

If it’s 8.4 ounces, I say 8, 8.5 I say 9. It’s served me well so far.

That’s how I was taught in school. Round up!! LoL

Ultra is to rare, as super is to dead. :man_shrugging:

what do you do when you get high bidders that win with zero feedback?
Just had this happen

I give them a chance… everyone had to start at 0 at one point…

It’s my understanding there is a guest checkout as well? So probably lots of zero feedback buyers that are legit. Just never had it happen.

I’ve had more trouble with people who have lots of feedback than people with just a little or even zero feedback. Just me though, I know it can go both ways.

You guys ever had that issue when you list some book on ebay and it gets almost no views?
It’s happened to me a number of times over the years. I’m not talking about some weird book nobody is hunting for either, I’m talking stuff you know people are looking for.
I’ll have 100 listings that are fine and there will be that 1-2 books that obviously something is not right with, even though everything looks good in the listing. The search algorithm must hate it. It will sit there with almost no views. It’s usually buy it nows but I’ve had it happen to a low price auction a few times as well.

Yes, lately I have been listing a ton of hot books on eBay that are getting no views… like ebay is penalizing me

I felt the same when I was selling on eBay. I saw other people’s listings getting sold and mine just sat there.

I’m so glad I don’t sell on eBay any longer…

My falcon and winter soldier has been on two weeks and has two views, hahaha. It is like ebay knew I was a flipper…

It maybe there’s a ton of them available and it’s not really a key.

I really want to try some other way of doing this. At the moment, I’m posting pictures on instagram and also posting on craigslist and linking to my IG.
I used to sell a lot on there over 15 years ago and recently started back with new account.
Until recently, I didn’t know someone had 30 days to ask for a refund and 180 days via paypal.
What is to stop someone from buying a book, holding it for three weeks and if the price crashes asking for their money back and returning the book?
I could buy a novel, read it and then return it 28 days later?
It all seems a bit one sided with these type of items.

I think it might be a visual glitch. I’ve had books sit a few days be at 0 or 3 views and sell. A few weeks ago I put a wolverine 88 that had a little tear and same day it sold
