I think this is discrimination? Where’s the “Mercari headaches” thread?!
I haven’t had any myself yet.
I’ve just noticed that eBay requires an item condition or it won’t show up in searches. They do understand that the terns and definitions aren’t applicable to comics and really apply to regular hardcover books, right? Bunch of effing morons at eBay.
Everything is NEW then… since it will be “NEW” to the buyer…
So, what do people think the chances are that a Batman Fortnite issue didn’t have the code in it when it was sealed?
Zilch but if the comic was sealed, they can contact Fortnite/DC for a code.
Sounds shady to me…
I’ve had Marvel codes not work, an email to Marvel support usually results in them asking me to take a pic of the code and book, then they send me a new code.
I haven’t opened any of these, is the code on a card, or on the book itself like Marvel codes?
I haven’t opened them either, but it says its a ‘sticker code’.
It’s weird. I sent a person two issues, and one of them was fine they report but the other one wasn’t. I have an extra copy around, just in case.
The code is printed on a sticker attached to the page with another sticker on top to cover it.
Here’s a picture of one that my kid redeemed
thanks
I assume if you tried to pull off the code sticker, it would leave an obvious mark?
Looks like the same style used in Marvel books. Most of the time it won’t leave a mark but it’s obvious if it’s been pulled off as it won’t stick back on.
I do recall once where I got a Marvel book that was just missing the code redemption entirely.
Have the user in question snap a pic of the page with the code sticker, removed or not.
Yep, having them do just that
… This is insane.
Got refunded last week and now the two slabs arrive at my door.
Just when I thought I could move forward from this, I now have to figure out how to either get them their money back or return these slabs.
Wouldn’t have even come to this if the seller had the courtesy to communicate with their customers in the first place. What a mess.
You’d imagine they had tracking #'s associated with your purchase.
