But if @drunkwooky is so willing to do what strangers say… Hey @drunkwooky, you really don’t need that Amazing Fantasy #15 any longer… go ahead and send it to me. Kapish!
How do I pin the Ebay list so that it doesnt get buried ? I see the list is in the ‘General’ section. Can I get it to show up in the ‘Comic’ section ? I may not be asking this the right way, but I think you get what I’m asking. Thanks !
You can’t pin it so it shows up at the top all the time but you can click the bookmark on any post to find it with ease.
Everything time a hold is put on money in my eBay account I cannot buy mailing labels. I try paying with my Paypal and it does not work. I called the bank and Paypal and they have no problem. When I talk to eBay they are not helpful. People buy an item and pay for postage and I cannot buy a mailing label to send their item. I can buy the label from Pirateship. I want to fix the problem because It going to keep happening.
You’d think if eBay is putting payments on a temp hold, they could calculate the amount paid for shipping for you to pay for the damn label. I’m glad I dropped eBay at beginning of the year… to save myself all these hassles I knew would occur when they took over everything payment related.
Where are you selling now? Mercari?
The shipping is the one thing that I like about eBay and they find a reason to make does not work.
Mercari mostly but I haven’t been selling as much this year.
I was on the phone with eBay for 45 minutes and they still could not fix it. You cannot link a PayPal account anymore. If it was already linked to them no problem. Every time they put a hold on something I cannot buy mailing labels.
This guy resurfaced to rub my face in subsequent $1200 JTC X-Men 19 9.9 sales.
If it’s one of you guys, honestly, just cut it out. This is strange behavior.
People have way too much time on their hands.
Does that mean you will sell me your AF #15 for half the going rate?
I think the going rate doubled since I bought it, so at least I’d break even.
I’m confuuuuused
I bought a CGC 9.9 comic which I sold for $700.
This guy gave me the unsolicited advice that I priced too low. So, I upped the price by a couple hundred bucks on my other 9.9s. They sold.
Fast forward a few days, the same guy comes out with a screen shot of a $1200 sale and an “I-told-ya-so.”
Ok.
Someone told me the other day on eBay that I was not pricing my comic what it’s worth (claiming I was too high)…. I told him what something is worth is determined once a transaction takes place between a buyer and a seller, it’s basic economics…. He didn’t respond…
I laugh at eBay prices all the time and it’s never occurred to me to send the seller a douchey note. Gosh, what’s wrong with me. /s
You could make strangers aware of how you are better at comic books than them!
Why stop at comics, just start telling everyone how much better you are at everything than they are! That’s the world we live in or at least heading into…
I wish I had time to be a “keyboard warrior” and go around trolling people on the internet… sounds exhausting!
Seller isn’t happy because I opened a return on a comic received scarred and disfigured. Was packed in a thin bag and envelope, no board or protection whatsoever. No damage mentioned anywhere on the listing, stock image used. Dude seems genuinely pissed off that I’m dissatisfied. Some sellers really dgaf.
