eBay Seller/Buyer Avoid List

Yeah and all the listings that were taken down yesterday are back up today. Had to report them again this morning. I told eBay I should be compensated for doing there job. Lol.

Actually looks like they hacked another account and relisted them. New account is sootysmtg. These have to be hacked accounts and I’d hate if it happened to me.

Yea I just came across a listing by happenstance. Sucks.

jos-3757 Bid on an item last second and won. 5 days No pay, I sent a Message saying I was canceling sale and he/she/they responded and asked if they could pay on Monday. Still no pay. Canceled and reported buyer to eBay and Chu.

So I got a PGX 9.8 The Fade Out #1 off eBay that had to be returned. One of the corners wasn’t sealed so it could be opened like a book. Serious scratches and gouges in the case that were so bad they left shadows on the book. Along with a real sticky residue in the top corner. The seller has now relisted the book and makes no mention any of the damage.

Non paying bidder, asked me to cancel.

If you have a non-paying bidder who asks you to cancel, don’t do it… Let the time for payment expire so that eBay puts non-paying buyer strike on their account. It’s my understanding that if you agree to cancel the order, they don’t get the strike.

Only thing is I doubt Ebay gives a rats you know what about non paying buyers. Seems to me Ebay only punishes sellers for whatever reason…not buyers. I could be wrong but personally have never seen a buyer get more than a slightly stern email for screwing with sellers…if that.

Ebay does mark the buyer’s account with a non-payment strike. Sellers can set their preferences to block buyers that have the strike.

I wonder about this too. Ebay is heavily favored towards buyers. But I do the same thing as you.

I’ll have to check that out.

Just had a ignorant Buyer “illuminatellc” claim comic was damaged, sold comic in NM condition but they wanted a “Mint condition”. Photos of cover, back, corners, and spine were provided and did not request any follow up photos before or after bidding.

Thanks for sharing. What are your options ?

Jdarque0 made a best offer on a $250 and then ghosted me on a payment on ebay. Resold the book for higher than his best offer so screw him.

Also reported MGhost47 on Mercari for continuously spamming and harassing. Offered $30 over and over again for the same $250 book. Just commenting on how I was ripping people off

Comicsplusmacon (an actual brick and mortar store but this was an ebay purchase), ordered 5 copies of Edge of Balance FCBD, received 2 copies. Told them and they said they would check with shipping, 7 days later still no reply. Sent a follow up, no reply.

Recommend action for receiving a partial order?

I’d open a “not as described” case.

I would report the seller and then request a refund on the books missing plus prorated shipping as you probably ordered more to help lower the overall cost per book.

gutstheberserker I Bought a set of Cable comics including Hopes first appearances as an adult. Normally sells for $30-40 and I bought it for less than $10. Seller cancels the purchase and refunds saying the listing had a mistake. He was taking it down and relisting it and was still going to sell it to me. He never messaged me or relisted the items so I left negative feedback. Now the idiot pos bought my cheapest item in order to leave a negative for me. I’ve contacted eBay and blocked him.

This is exactly why I have an eBay ID just for purchases and a different ID for selling.
