hoping the final renderings in the movie are close to how the Celestials looked in Eternals, they looked really cool
Nic Cage can do no wrong.
I’d be willing to bet that Ha$bro will use the crowd-funded Galactus Haslab machining and molds to make a movie version of the figure.
It’s cool, but not $80 cool. Also it remains to be seen if the movie is any good or not, so…
I still own that stupid batman vs superman movie special ticket for $100.
You could fo see the movie as many times as you want with this $100 ticket.
Once was more than enough.
That ticket remains a used kitchen sink to me
Still looks like a waste of time…
Instead of being upset…I should actually Thank Marvel…they are saving me money by continuously putting out $h!t movies and comics.
I’m still curious but yeah, this doesn’t look like a slam dunk. I truly hope to be wrong. Still thrown off by the Thing’s voice.
I have many concerns
You’re always going to be let down when you set your expectations so high… go into everything without any expectations I say, especially for movies and entertainment since they have zero direct impact on your life as it is.
I’m still looking forward to this one. That’s a pretty good cast. It’ll take a terrible script to make this one a dud. Always possible, but I feel like the MCU is trending upward.
very low bar after last 2 ff movies
We need to ground our expectations. It is after all a family friendly movie based on a 60 year old comic book story. Expecting an Oscar winner is foolish.
It’d be nice to see something along the lines of the quality of nearly every (not every) movie in Phase 1 —> 3
Crazy of me to want that … high bar… I guess.
It’s more important to have bad jokes and tons of meaningless action; and things happening that are cool, sick and dope. As long as the action lacks true drama & heartfelt stakes, it’s fine I guess
Cant wait to hear the Thing finally tell someone the time of day. I’m sure it will be a riot
All Marvel has to do is lean into the Deadpool and DD Born Again type of storytelling (with less over the top Reynolds-isms) like maybe an R-rated X-Force flick and they’ll have more success.
I tend to think that if a phase 1 movie came out today, people would say it was horrible trash. I think expectations have skyrocketed since End Game. That was an impossibly good lead up and pay off. They’ve done some bad stuff since, of course, but I think much of it is falling short of impossible expectations. There have also been what… 30+ movies in this universe? What worked 10 years ago just doesn’t work as well anymore.
It may be a good movie, but I’m not paying to see it.
Its a waste of money. We all know the story and what happens at the end of the movie.
Its a movie where the heroes are running out of time to save their Earth, but in the end they dont.
We could say that for just about all movies though… just throw your TV out, what’s the point with that type of attitude?
